The beginning
The whole WalkerJacob.com era started back when I was like 12 or somthin. Loved computers and wanted to make my own little space within the endless void that is the internet. Going from super basic HTML & CSS, to learning what libraries are and the insane speed at which “simple” technology ended up expanding into complete systems that have not only integrated into our society but in some ways has become our society. Walker Hub stands for… none of that I just wanted to get away from upload limits that discord and other social media sites make.
Haha was going on a tangent with how big the universe was or whatever but legit Walker Hub was spawned on the frustration of me just trying to send more than 20 pictures or a 10 minute video to my friend. All without having to use some Dropbox, YouTube or somthin like that.
In any case it’s pretty neat that everything is working this well; with logins and very newly updated media management; like this collection :) It’s all incredibly neat that it works. I get notifications on my phone and even some of my friends have used it and even the DM system works! I have so many plans to do things including various UI / UX re-works to ensure users (and myself) enjoy using Walker Hub and it being actually beneficial.
