The website and Hub are good at being a website and a members space. They are a bad place to pretend they run the Linux box.
Cerb Host is a small private console for that machine — status, updates, and a calm heads-up when it is going down. Other things on the box can ask whether the host is healthy, and get told when a restart is coming, so uploads can pause and the site can show planned maintenance instead of guessing.
I used to scatter that job. One desk is enough. Updates queue there; I apply them when I mean to. The public site stays on Vercel. Host stays on the box, for me.
