Two navigation problems kept showing up: new friends didn’t know which tab did what, and people who already lived in Hub didn’t notice silent fixes.
Guide (/hub/guide) is the how-to. Short chapters, mobile-first steps, deep links into Library, share, People, Messages, Account, and friends. Each chapter can end with a Longer story link back to a clarifying post on the public site — the Guide stays procedural; the blog can ramble. Signup, invite email, and “New here?” empty states point at Guide. The optional Getting Started media tour stays available from Welcome when it’s configured — visual, not primary.
What’s new (/hub/whats-new) is the release backlog in human form — pulled from the changelog so Hub versions match what shipped. It shows up in Library teasers, Account, and mobile More. No feed algorithm; just “here’s what changed.”
