Easy Fix Without Reinstalling
Fix for the Windows App

Open Windows Settings.

Navigate to:
Apps > Installed apps > Windows App -
Scroll down to the app options.

Click Terminate.

Click Reset.

Re-launch the Windows App.

Sign in using your DoD account.
That should fix the issue.
If the Error Happens in a Normal Browser
If you see the same error in a regular browser and closing/reopening the browser does not work:
- Close the browser completely.
- Re-open the browser.
- Clear your browser cookies.
- Clear your browser cache.
- Try signing in again.
